PE Days

Our PE days will be Monday & Tuesday. Please send your child to school wearing their PE kit on these days - thank you. 

Welcome to Jaguar Class! We are a class of Year 3 and 4 children and you can find us in the block by the KS2 playground. Our teacher is Miss Jackson supported by two teaching assistants, Mrs Wilkinson and Mrs Spencer.  In Jaguar Class, we are becoming more independent and responsible as we continue our key stage 2 journey.

During Year 3 and 4 we will be learning about so many exciting topics with links to art, history, geography, science and more! We will also be concentrating on learning times tables facts off by heart and learning how to spell and read Year 3 and 4 common exception words.

Respect, Responsibility and Remain Safe are the key rules that as a class we will work on throughout the academic year. We will also be using our Sunny Six, focusing on Izzy Independence as part of developing the children to be able to work more independently while having fun learning!

Reading Books

We ask that you sign their planners to let us know if they have finished the book or what page they have read up to. We are keen to develop fluency so we like to encourage children to re-read their books before changing them. We ask that children read at least three times a week at home. All children have access to a reading for pleasure book alongside their banded reading book.
