If you are worried your child maybe struggling with their mental health please speak to school and share your concerns.

NEED HELP OR IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE NOW:

Between 9am – 5pm you can contact the CAMHS team or your care coordinator (if you or your child are already seeing someone in CAMHS) on 01302 796191

Out of hours is after 5 pm, at weekends and bank holidays – for a mental health crisis access to support call our Single Point of Access on 0800 804 8999

If someone is in immediate danger or requires serious or life-threatening immediate emergency mental or physical health assistance dial 999

Zone 5 - 19 Doncaster School School Nursing Team

We recognise that no one family is the same. We pride ourselves on offering a whole family approach, that mirrors the unique needs of the people that share your home.
We support parents and carers of children and young people aged between 5 and 19, living in Doncaster or attending a Doncaster education setting.

Here you will find information, advice, tools and resources, on most aspects of children and young people’s health and wellbeing.

Common reasons why parents and carers get in touch with us include:

-care planning, for children with a long-term health condition
-anxiety
-continence
-emotional worries (bullying, bereavement, divorce)
-nutrition and physical activity

Health visitors and school nurses are vital health assets in our communities and schools. They play a key role in identifying needs, promoting and improving health, preventing illness and reducing inequalities – helping our children to thrive.

 

Health Visitors support children between 3 - 5 in schools.
