Early Years Foundation Stage

At the end of Reception, children are assessed against the Early Learning Goals. Achieving a Good Level of Development (GLD) means that a child has met the expected standard in the key areas of learning that help prepare them for the next stage of their education.
Year 1 Phonics

The Year 1 Phonics Screening Check assesses children's ability to use their phonics knowledge to read words. This is an important foundation for developing confident and fluent readers.
Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check (MTC)

The Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) is completed by pupils in Year 4 and assesses their fluency in recalling multiplication facts up to 12 × 12. The maximum possible score is 25.

EXS+ means that pupils have achieved the Expected Standard or above for their age.
RW&M refers to pupils achieving the expected standard or above across Reading, Writing and Mathematics combined.
